The Rex Steakhouse will act as the official steakhouse of BLVD and feed select offensive and defensive linemen weekly throughout the 2022 season. To launch the partnership, Brett Neilon (OL) and Nick Figueroa (DL) were invited to The Rex by owners Lisa and Dan Nguyen to learn alongside Executive Chef Walter Nunez and cook for their respective position groups. When asked why this is so important to Mr. Nguyen, he stated, ”This partnership is a win/win combination for The Rex Steakhouse and our beloved USC football players. Having the incredible DLine and OLine players like Andrew Vorhees, Brett Neilon, Nick Figueroa, and Tuli Tuipulotu promoting our business, there is no doubt that The Rex Steakhouse will benefit from it and the support from The Trojan Family.”
The founder and CEO of Stay Doubted, BLVD’s parent company, reinforced this message by stating, “tapping into regional partners such as The Rex is a win for the community and USC’s student-athletes. These partnerships are essential to the NIL era of collegiate athletics.”
Beyond supporting the players, The Rex and BLVD will team up to create exclusive experiences at the restaurant for BLVD members, which houses the steakhouse on the first level with two additional floors of hospitality spaces above.
